OUR ACADEMIC PROGRAM

At Hilton Montessori, our academic program is designed to ignite curiosity and foster a love for learning in each child. We offer a broad curriculum that includes hands-on experiences and exploration across various subjects, encouraging children to engage deeply with the material. We offer a comprehensive Montessori Curriculum developed and refined over the last 100 years and with the support of the South African Montessori Association (SAMA)
Our dedicated team of educators is passionate about providing quality educational experiences that honour the individuality of every child. We are always willing and happy to welcome and meet new parents, or have parents meetings should you wish to.

Practical Life
Practical Life activities develop independence, concentration, coordination, and responsibility through meaningful everyday tasks that build confidence and self esteem.

Sensorial
Through carefully designed materials, children refine their senses and learn to observe, compare, classify, and understand their environment with greater awareness and precision.

Mathematics & Geometry
Concrete materials help children build a strong mathematical foundation, progressing naturally from hands on exploration to abstract thinking and problem solving.

Language
Language activities foster communication, literacy, reading, writing, and self expression, helping children develop confidence and a lifelong appreciation for language.
Art & Music
Creative experiences encourage self expression, imagination, and appreciation for beauty while nurturing fine motor skills, confidence, and a love for the arts.

Biology
Children discover the wonders of living things, exploring plants, animals, and ecosystems while developing respect and appreciation for the natural world.

Zoology
Through the study of animals and their habitats, children gain an understanding of biodiversity, adaptation, and the interconnectedness of life on Earth.

Geography
Geography introduces children to different countries, cultures, landforms, and environments, helping them develop a broader understanding of our world and their place within it.
History
Children explore the stories of people, events, and civilisations that have shaped our world, building an appreciation for the past and its influence on the present.

Science
Scientific exploration encourages children to ask questions, investigate ideas, and develop critical thinking skills through discovery and observation. Children explore scientific concepts through hands on experiments and observation.

Grace and Courtesy Lessons
These lessons help children develop respect, kindness, empathy, and social confidence, fostering positive relationships and a strong sense of community.
